Interstate Merchant

How to play Interstate Merchant

Start with a small hatchback, learn what each state pays for goods, and build a nationwide trading business. Every route, purchase, listing, and investment is a choice—use the information you gather to make your next move count.

1 · TravelPick a connected U.S. state and pay for the fuel to get there.
2 · TradeBuy where an item is affordable and sell where demand is stronger.
3 · GrowUpgrade your vehicle, open sales bases, and build lasting wealth.
1

Read each local market

Each state has its own prices and advantages. Compare the ask price before you buy and the local offer before you sell. Water, clothing, watches, precious metals, diamonds, batteries, and special lots can all move differently from place to place.

2

Plan the road

Use the U.S. route board to select a connected destination. Longer trips cost more fuel, so keep enough cash for the road and leave room in your vehicle for cargo. Your market memory becomes more valuable as you visit more states.

3

Trade with patience

A good trade is not always the fastest sale. Pay attention to regional price differences, NPC opportunities, cargo space, and fuel cost. Need volume? Use Buy full beside an item to purchase the most that fits in your remaining cargo space and your cash or available supply-card credit—for example, 90 diamonds with 90 open slots and enough buying power.

4

Use the online marketplace

List multiple items, choose an asking price, and review offers as game days pass. Use List at Full to create as many listings as possible for the selected item at the target price. It is limited by the cargo you carry, listing fees, and open slots; roadside listings can use your carried cargo, while each home has up to 10 slots. You can accept an offer, wait for a better one, or set an automatic sale price so qualifying offers close on their own.

5

Build sales bases

Homes act as local sales bases. A home gives you listing space in that state, so a network of properties can support several regional marketplaces. Property ownership, financing, and monthly costs all matter in your larger plan.

6

Upgrade the fleet wisely

Your hatchback is efficient but limited. Move up to a minivan, compact cargo van, and high-roof delivery van when more cargo capacity will make the extra cost worthwhile. Vehicle loans show their payment details before you agree.

7

Manage simulated investing

Every player trades on the same simulated Daystar Exchange, with common prices, candles, indicators, and history. You keep your own cash, shares, and limit orders. A new candle arrives every 5 real seconds. You can buy or sell one share of a stock, or use Sell all beside that stock to sell every available share in one trade. Shares reserved for an automatic sell order are not available until you cancel that order. You can also reserve cash or shares for an automatic limit order. The shared market keeps moving when you travel, pause your road game, or leave. On return, missed limit targets are checked before stock trading resumes. This is part of the game, not real investing advice.

8

Protect the business

Use the Finance Report to watch revenue, deductible spending, loans, registration, and yearly taxes. A signed-in cloud account saves your run. Play on one device at a time so the active-session safeguard can protect your newest progress.

Quick answers

Do I need to remember prices?

Yes. Learning which states tend to pay more or less for an item is a central part of the game. Use the markets you visit to develop a route strategy.

Can I play from another device?

Yes, when you create an account. Sign in on the other device and use the current cloud save. The game asks you to take over intentionally so an older browser cannot overwrite newer progress.

What is the Top 10 road board?

It recognizes public merchant names using a score based on the simulated business you have built, including cash, properties, vehicle level, visited states, and debt status.
